Meet Marissa Paris! Her favorite memory is the shift during a snowstorm when they stayed open with a skeleton crew and Mike himself had to wait on tables. Off the clock, she's all about family time and cheering on the Chiefs come football season.

On 20 years: "I've been here for almost a decade, and I can't say anything but great things about the restaurant, the food, the management, the employees, and the guests. All the BEST!"

Faces of Trezo: 18 years ago, Jenn’s old restaurant was closing, so she found her way to Trezo Mare and the rest is history.

Meet Jenn Forsythe! She calls herself “an open book,” and after nearly two decades on our floor, her coworkers would probably agree there’s nothing left to surprise them with. Off the clock, you’ll find her spending time with her nieces.

On 20 years: “It’s been a tremendous amount of hard work, but the memories, friendships, and achievements make every early morning, late night, and stressful moment worth it.”

Mimi's Pantry: bridge the gap for individuals and families who are faced with the challenge of having enough nourishing food and educational resources available to them.

Faces of Trezo: 14 years ago, Hipolito was walking to a different job when Trezo caught his eye. He applied on the spot, and the rest is history.

Meet Hipolito Alvarez! He runs our grill and sauté station during lunch (Mike says his huevos are the best in the building!). Outside the kitchen, he’s a DJ, and he moved all the way from Mexico to build his life here in Kansas City.

On 20 years: “I am so lucky to be here. We’ve accomplished so much, and I’ve had a lot of fun with my coworkers and management.”

Meet Judy Fishel! In her decade here she's seen it all, including a "creative" staff birthday cake she says you couldn't get away with today. Outside of work, she's all about family, friends, concerts, travel, and SHOPPING.

On what 20 years means to her: "The owners have done an amazing job and have treated the employees respectfully and lovingly. We are a family! Call me crazy, but Trezo is my Happy Place!!" 💛

Meet Mario Velasquez! His favorite Trezo memory is on Cinco de Mayo when a mariachi band came right into the kitchen to play for the whole staff. Outside of work he's all about family time, Marvel movies, a little fishing, and his new German Shepherd puppy, Benji.

Meet Shea Hudelson! His favorite Trezo memory is our record-breaking Valentine's Day 2026: "the whole kitchen was flawless." Off the clock, you'll find him on long walks with his dog, Prince, or playing ultimate frisbee.
