Eggcellence Cafe and Bakery is halal with multiple options! The staff is very knowledgeable about what is halal and what is not and they are aware and concerned about cross contamination! Must try when in Houston!

In the past year, several world events have redefined what most of us would consider “normal”. Mask mandates, stay-at-home orders, and Disney+ have changed the landscape for all of our futures. So as we approach this new year, we here at Tandoor Char House are thinking of what it means to be a restaurant in these trying times, and how grateful we are to support our community.
What does “restaurant” even mean, you might wonder. It is originally derived from the French word “restaurer” meaning quite literally “that which restores”. The restaurant was known as a place of great comfort and hospitality, offering food, drink and a place for all travelers to warm themselves by the fire.
At Tandoor Char House, we pride ourselves on still providing that same service to all those seeking it. As 2021 sets in, we urge you all to find comfort in the fact that in those late nights after work, forgotten lunches at home or when you just want to treat yourself, Tandoor Char House is here to help. With our ALL NEW location in River North, we are able to reach even more of our community and introduce our unique flavors to all.

Kabul House Restaurant This place has it all. Amazing Ambience, New Decor, Huge waiting area, Great service and Amazing food! Don’t be fool by others with cheap imitations wanna be Afghani Rice! Best Afghani rice hands down! MUST try are (Eggplant) Banjan, Kabob and Glazed
