So as many of you have seen, we have listed the Bird for sale with Ray Ailstock Realty.

My family has just celebrated our 50th year in business. It’s been an adventurous ride to say the least! Zella Irwin Kinsey started the Bluebird back in 1925- the restaurant is full of history- great customers, wonderful community and countless relationships that are cherished. We as a family have come to a point where we are looking to find that next person to take the reins and steer this on a continued path. We plan to continue doing things as normal until that person is found. Our hours are 6am-3pm daily. Our fried chicken is available everyday as well as our homemade pies!

Again- we are maintaining our ”new normal” operating hours- Daily 6am-3pm.

Attention North Street residents…. It’s that time if year that we need to inconvenience you for a couple of nights. The Morristown Area Chamber Commerce Adult Derby is Friday night. We will have a practice night this Wednesday, Jul 27th from 5-7:30. Race day we will have weigh in from 4-6 with the race starting about 6:15. We ask that all cars be removed from North Street between Jackson street and Washington by 4 on both days. Thank you for your patience!!

Staffing issues are making it difficult to continue our normal routine. Because of this, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, WE WILL BE CLOSING AT 3:00PM DAILY. Hopefully we can get back to "normal" soon. We will continue to have our chicken meals available, our salad bar out, and the rest of the menu available until 3 daily. Thank you for your patience with these changes.
