Kara stopped by yesterday with her two daughters for some treats!

She lives in California and was back in the area visiting family.

During COVID, we made the wedding cake for her and Jackson. It was especially meaningful to me because, despite all the uncertainty, they found a way to keep moving forward and celebrate their marriage. Some loved ones had to join by Zoom, but the couple still got to do the two most important things: share a kiss and enjoy some cake. ❤️🍰

Last night I was able to be with friends of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. The event was in the kitchen at ShopRite on Hanover Ave. As guests, we got to help cook dinner with the chefs from the FoodBank.
It was such a pleasure to be around everyone there. Elizabeth McCarthy, CEO of the FoodBank gave a great talk and reminded us how food insecurities and hunger are growing in NJ. They are doing a good job at keeping up, but still need continued support. Please consider donating to them. The CFBNJ sends food to all our towns.
