So- Visit Mountaineer Country came to the restaurant to try the food at the new location, made a video.. It was great! We had so many good reviews from new customers & new customers- we are blessed😁 but we have a few customers that are not so nice & have made reviews before we was even opened a few weeks. Here is what the reviews say:
- Doesn’t look like the gravy is homemade it looks packaged ( by the photos)
- Doesn’t look like the old restaurant & we should not have moved
- 2nd day we was opened our credit card machine wasn’t working.
- Prices have probably went up
- we had to wait a long time for our food
- we should not have moved out of the old town we were in.
- we went to eat and there was a sing on the door that we were closed so we are not coming back.
-We don’t have enough staff
So we don’t used packaged gravy, you can’t judge a book by its cover. We tried to make it look like the old restaurant and put up all the old pictures still. Our prices have not went up from the old restaurant. Yes there is a wait for food we are not fast food and your food is made fresh every order and we are short staffed ( we have posted this on every table so people are aware) we have been hiring new staff, we did not want to move however we had no choice so this was the closest building with enough parking. And yes there would have been a sign on the door because we are closed on Mondays. So why do people have to be so mean gesh! We haven’t even been opened a month yet we have came along way & we will be fine, I’m excited to see our regular customers & new customers every day- So we don’t need any of the negative comments & I apologize if anyone has had any problems with anything please contact me & I will fix it- 304-212-5184- ask for Crystal if I’m not available I will call you back.
