Dear Dolly,
It’s hard to put into words what you have meant to Cup Of Ambition Coffee Co because the truth is - you were the inspo behind it all. The name, the pink, the sparkles, the big dreams and the belief that you can build something special while still leading with kindness… it all started with you. 💕✨
But long before Cup of Ambition, there was a five-year-old little girl named Rachel who saw you on tv and absolutely adored you. From that moment on you were her idol. As she grew up, she realized there was so much more to admire than the big blonde hair, the rhinestones, beautiful voice and the larger- than- life personality she first fell in love with.
You showed the world that a woman could be strong and soft, successful and humble, glamorous and generous. You dreamed big, worked hard, stayed true to yourself and then used your success to make life better for other people.
Of all the incredible things you accomplished one of Rachel’s favorites will always be the Imagination Library. Getting to introduce her nephews to something created from your love for children and reading made your impact so much more personal. The fact that generations of children have grown up with books in their hands because of you says so much about the legacy you leave behind.
For five years, Cup of Ambition got to carry a tiny piece of that inspiration. Every pink detail, every sparkle, every cup of coffee and every dream we chased was a little nod to the woman who taught us to never be afraid of being too much- too ambitious, too sparkly, too hopeful or too determined.
Dolly you were never just a celebrity.
You were- and always will be- the kind of woman every little girl should look up to and aspire to become: unapologetically herself, incredibly hard working, endlessly kind, generous beyond measure, and always willing to leave the world a little brighter than when she found it.
Thank you for inspiring a five year old girl.
