It is with heavy hearts we announce the closing of our Oak Hill location, 2362 US Hwy 181, Morganton, effective immediately.
Given the climate of the restaurant industry (really any small business) right now, it has become increasingly difficult to continue to operate at all, much less with the quality and service we want to deliver with so few staff members, the rising cost of products and supplies, the need for building/property repairs and upgrades and so so many other things. The staff that has been there through it all have been nothing short of amazing! We have not been able to physically be on this property much at all with the opening of our 2nd location. These staff members have worked long, long hours, days in a row, showed up for no-shows and weekly call ins, stepped up and took on additional responsibilities and just generally held it all together. We are so thankful for that but we also know as the spring/summer season progresses they simply can’t do it all.
Thank you all for your patronage, your welcoming us into this community, your friendships and always your encouragement. It has been an amazing journey and we are so thankful for each and every one of you- our current staff, past staff and many many customers both near and far, that had a place in this journey!! Our journey does not end here – as many of you know we opened a second location in November 2021 at 101 Steakhouse Road, Morganton, Carolina Smoke Barbeque Grill and Copper Still. We will continue serving the same outstanding food you are accustomed to at the Steakhouse Road location. Please come by and visit often!!
