📚 Book Review 📚

Growing up female in a world where everything is for sale — including yourself. 👀

Girls by Freya India is one of those books that gets under your skin and stays there.

It’s not just about social media. It’s about the entire ecosystem built around it — the self-surveillance, the personality branding, the way insecurity gets quietly monetized. Sound familiar?

Sharp. Personal. Quietly devastating.

Reading this as a Gen X-er? Prepare to feel low-key terrified. 😬

It asks the questions we should all be sitting with: “Is this actually normal now?” “How did it get this way?”

Not a comfortable read — but absolutely one that lingers. This one will make you ponder. Read the full review on our website! 📚

📚 Book Review 📚

Did you know conjoined twins Eng & Chang Bunker spent most of their lives in Mount Airy, NC?

Christina Baker Kline brings their extraordinary story to life in The Foursome — told through the eyes of Sallie, one of the sisters who married into this remarkable family.

Two couples. No privacy. A plantation in the antebellum South. And 21 children between them.

Kline handles the impossible questions with grace, keeping the focus on the bigger story — one about race, identity, marriage, and what “normal” really means.

As Sallie puts it: “Few of us, when it comes down to it, are truly normal.”

A fascinating read for anyone who loves historical fiction with real depth. 📚
