Have you ever grabbed a honey bear off the shelf without second-guessing it?
Producers of these syrup blends rely on clever marketing. They hope you won't take a second to read the back, expecting you to see the cute little bear, the yellow and black honeycomb graphics, and that golden honey color, and assume it's real.
But ingredient lists are structured by weight (most to least), meaning the majority of what's inside this unassuming bear is actually Corn Syrup.
Start reading that fine print and enjoy the rabbit hole of then having to check every label at your local grocery store 🕳️
