☕️ WHITE COFFEE GELATO ❤️

What makes white coffee gelato different than regular coffee gelato?

When preparing white coffee gelato, I warm the milk and steep it in coffee beans for 12 hours.

With a regular coffee gelato I blend a dehydrated, 100% Arabica coffee from Brazil, with my milk, cream, sugars and base.

The white coffee is a sweet and smooth coffee flavor, whereas the coffee flavor is sweet and slightly bitter, like a good cup of coffee.

I’ll finish up this white coffee batch tomorrow and I’ll share this flavor with the guests attending the Loaves & Fishes Backpack Blessings fundraising dinner event, this Friday at the Mainsail in Beaufort! Tickets are still available at loavesandfishesnc.org.

I picked up a couple cantaloupes from Willis Farm in Newport on my way to the shop - turned it into a refreshing sorbet!
