Hundreds fed this weekend at Reelin' For Research - Since 2009, Reelin’ for Research has turned a love of fishing into impact, with over $8.3 million raised in support of childhood cancer research. And this year, the 81 Hospitality catering team joined once again in the effort.

Not exactly postcard weather, but folks showed up, adjusted, and came together for the cause. Grateful for everyone who made the pivot and showed out for a worthy charity.

We're thrilled to announce that 81 Hospitality's Chief Hospitality Officer Liza Merrell has joined the North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association, working alongside Sheri Erhart to represent our restaurant and hospitality concepts across the state.

NCRLA announced the election of Sheri Erhart, chief operating officer of CMC Hotels, as chair of its board of directors.
