Please be advised that as a result of the continuing impacts of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the National Park Service has released new guidance for Grand Teton National Park. Effective immediately, all individuals aged two (2) years and older, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask or other acceptable face covering when inside federal facilities. This includes in-park visitor centers, hotels, restaurants, bars, shops, and other public places. Masks may be removed while eating or drinking.

The National Park Service works with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as state, tribal, and local public health authorities and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to ensure the safety of park visitors, employees, volunteers, and partners. Our booking engine will be down for scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, April 7 at 3:00 pm MST for approximately two hours.

During this time, visitors will not be able to book reservations online or by phone. Online reservations will be available immediately after the maintenance window. Reservations by phone will resume during normal business hours on Thursday, April 8 at 8:00am MST.

Grand Teton Lodge Company operations have been modified for the 2021 summer season in response to newly-received guidance from the National Park Service, as well as continuing recommendations and ordinances from our local and national public health authorities.

Happy Birthday to Grand Teton National Park, turning 92 years young today! The park was first established in 1929. At the time, Jackson Hole was considered a scenic preserve and John D. Rockefeller bought 35,000 acres of land in the area to later donate to the federal government to be incorporate into the park. Today, Grand Teton National Park encompasses over 300,000 acres filled with diverse wildlife and stunning mountain scenery.

To protect the health of those who live, work and visit our national parks and facilities, and in support of the President’s Executive Order on Protecting the Federal Workforce and Requiring Mask-Wearing, face masks are now required to be worn by all guests and visitors across our operations when inside our facilities, in line or gathered for services, and anywhere appropriate social distancing cannot be maintained.

UPDATE: Mask requirements for fully vaccinated visitors vary by park. In all parks, people who are not fully vaccinated must continue to wear masks indoors and in crowded outdoor spaces. The Grounds Supervisor is is responsible for overseeing the care and maintenance of all grounds and outside appurtenances. This position supervises the activities of the grounds crew, this incudes: mowing, brush removal, cutting fire wood and helping to landscape or maintain existing grounds. You will use a combination of power and hand tools or equipment. Areas include Jackson Lake Lodge, Colter Bay Village, Jenny Lake Lodge and Gros Ventre.
