Some people will say this is political, a lot of people will say don't involve yourself in divisive topics. But the truth is, we need to be better. This is basic human rights.

We need to care for each other. Misogyny is wrong. Sexual assault is wrong. Standing by saying how "it wasn't me" or "I wouldn't do that" is not enough. If you see something report it. If it feels wrong it probably is. Don't just stand by.

This excerpt is from a very powerful speech by musical artist Logic. It's worded far better than I ever could.

"Women are as precious as they are stronger than any man I have ever met. And unto them I say: Stand tall and crush all predators under the weight of your heart that is full of the love they will never take away from you. Be not scared to use your voice, and especially in instances like these when you have the opportunity. Stand and fight for those who are not weak, but have yet to discover the strength that the evil of this world has done its best to conceal."

Hey everyone, I'm the guy in the front. My name is TJ and I started High Branch Brewing Co. . Although I live in Iredell County, I realize people in Mooresville don't really know me. That's mostly because I'm pretty quiet. I like to be the guy who hides in the brewery. I started home brewing maybe 20 years ago now. I get a bit obsessed with things and started reading everything I could on making b**r. It got to the point where I thought I should make it a job, so thats when the business started in Concord. With about $10k and a credit card we were on our way. We brew all the b**r there, and sell it at both taprooms. So you don't see me often, but I am involved behind the scenes. The people working in the taprooms are much better at being interesting than I am, so I stay out of the way. Anyway, thanks for the support I appreciate you all!
