Fearing she would never return to Italy, she ate as much gelato as possible during that trip as a teenager. Fortunately, she has returned to Italy many times, and took her husband Bubba across the world in 2016 just so he could have the unbeatable experience of gelato, too. In 2023, Brenden and Sara attended Carpigiani Gelato University in Bologna, Italy, to learn the true art and science of gelato. Now, they share the tastiness and joy of authentic, artisan gelato with those at home in Bear Lake, Idaho. Gelato Jovi is the perfect place to have a true taste of Italy, free of added preservatives and dyes. Our gelato is made fresh daily with the highest quality fruit, nuts, and chocolate. Our sorbetto is a also a refreshing treat that is dairy free and fat free. If you’re going to indulge, why not do it in a gourmet fashion?

🍁Here’s our menu for the Harvest Festival!

Come to the Bear Lake County Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 19 for a day of food and fun.

The festival runs from 12-6 pm, and the truck/tractor pulls begin shortly afterwards at 6:30 pm. We’ll have the gelato truck open from 12-8 pm, so come by and see us!

On Sept. 10, we’ll be parked behind our house in the alleyway just adjacent to the Montpelier Tabernacle. You can walk over from the Temple Open House, or, if you’re coming by car, you can park in the driveway behind our red garage.

We’ll open at noon and close when we’re sold out.

🎉 Three days for gelato this week! 🎉

On Thursday, find us behind our house in the 600 block of Grant St. We’ll be set up in the alleyway adjacent to the Montpelier Tabernacle. If you are coming for the Temple Open House, come visit us before or after your tour! If you’re coming by car, you can park in the driveway behind our garage while you grab your gelato. We’ll open at noon and close when we’re sold out.

On Friday, find us at Gundersen’s. We’ll be open from 12-7 pm.

On Saturday, we’ll be at Gundersen’s again, but we’ll open a little later than usual due to the Lotoja bike race. Open 2-7 pm.

We’re rolling out a few fall flavors this week!🍁
