We are growing with the season. Quietly and creatively, at our own pace and flow.

This is the season of seemingly subtle change, yet somehow everything looks different just days later. We don’t always notice it in the moment—the leaves turn from green to yellow to red while we slumber. Then one morning, we wake to misty air, warm light, and that unmistakable autumn crispness. What a joy!

We’re experiencing a little season of change here at North, too. We’ll be closed this Thursday only while we take a day to prepare for some exciting updates behind the scenes.

We’ll be back Friday morning—with delicious, freshly baked Wide Awake Bakery bread, good coffee, and open doors.

We were so busy enjoying the moment that social media got away from us. ☀️🧡🐥

So here’s a little hodgepodge of summer at North.

Long, caffeinated days. Good food and even better conversations. Familiar faces and new ones wandering through our doors. Quiet evenings spent foraging, exploring, and noticing just how much beauty surrounds us here.

We are so, so grateful for this incredible community—and for all the little moments that have made this summer what it was.

And while we may have been quiet here, there has been a lot happening behind the scenes.

We have stories to tell you. So many, actually.

In about a week, we’ll finally be sharing a big part of ours—something we’ve held close all summer and are incredibly excited to let out into the world.

Until then, we’ll leave you with a little hint:

We are all story makers, finding our way through this strange and beautiful life. Our stories cross in unexpected places—sometimes over coffee, sometimes around a table, sometimes simply because we happened to be in the same place at the right time.

And maybe that’s the beauty of it.

Our stories were never meant to exist entirely on their own.
