I really wanted to donate to Rivers of Hope for May’s donation, but couldn’t really donate baked goods to everyone they help. Instead, we are donating birthday cake kits. Rivers of Hope is a domestic violence center serving Wright & Sherburne Counties, in MN. Their mission is to provide a community coordinated response to end domestic violence. This is a cause that is very close to my heart and I know many people(including myself) who have worked specifically with Rivers of Hope to leave abusive situations.
