Chef Ken knew he wanted to be a chef as a teen when baking and cooking in his mother’s small kitchen in Saint Pete, Florida!
Chef Ken attended Kieser University to study the culinary arts, making the Dean’s list & graduating in 2009. Shortly after, he started his internship at Liam’s Restaurant in Thomasville, Georgia under Chef Scott Foster. In late 2010, he moved to Colorado to manage & serve for Aramark Corporation until 2014. Chef Ken's experience includes multiple Maryland's and Big Boys fried chicken restaurants. Since then, Chef Ken has been traveling around the states broadening his culinary skills and knowledge as a private chef for multiple fine dining establishments.
Chef Ken brings with him a love for cooking, a high standard in management and his son Noah who is proudly following in his father’s footsteps! Noah started cooking at a young age when his father was starting out as a sous-chef, creating a special father-son bond. He started baking pizza as a teen in a pizzeria before shifting over to Bojangles restaurant. Noah hopes that his meals and dishes make every customer smile and come back for more!
Chef Ken and Noah are excited to be the new owners and operators of the Maryland Fried Chicken in Monticello, Florida and meeting everyone who comes and dines at the new restaurant.
