​To make things even sweeter—or should we say spicier?—Riverbend BBQ will be set up and serving an absolute Cajun staple: HOMEMADE GUMBO!

​Come hunt for some incredible treasures and grab a hot bowl of authentic gumbo to keep you fueled up while you shop.

I normally don't lift the lids during smoking, especially during the first two hours, which have the most impact on the early cook. However, I wanted to give you a chance to see the process this morning. Were about 15 minutes in on this cook and It's a shame the smell can't be virtually captured. 🐷 😋 Riverbend BBQ

Special request: If you usually get the pulled pork potato bowl, would you be willing to try the shredded chicken version instead and give me your honest feedback? We can also do pulled chicken sandwiches as well.

We only have a limited supply, and we close at 6:00 PM today, so if you can swing by, your opinion means everything. 😄

We will be closing at our warehouse location at 1pm on Friday and moving downtown to serve at Springfest!

If you don't have a chance to grab lunch with us at the warehouse, come downtown and have dinner with great music and vendors!

Spring Fest is here. The following information will be for road closures and vendor setup times.

Thursday morning the parking lot beside the Chamber of Commerce and the open lot beside Legal Appraisal Services will be closed so the stage can be set up.
****For a period of time on Thursday, East Columbia Ave will be closed due to loading in the stage equipment****

Friday at 2:00pm West Columbia Ave will be closed from the downtown square to Printers Alley so Food Trucks can get set up for the festival. This road will remain closed until the festival is over Saturday night.

Friday at 4:00pm Main Street will be closed from the stoplight at the Monticello Bank Headquarters to Monticello City Hall. This road will remain closed until the festival is over Saturday night.

Saturday at 6:00am Arts and Crafts Vendors will be allowed to set up in their assigned spots. Vendors Market opens at 9:00am. Arts and Crafts vendors will be set up from the downtown stoplight to the Chamber of Commerce office.

All road should be reopened around midnight on Saturday May 16th.

​Are you a morning person who loves the smell of woodsmoke and great food? Riverbend BBQ is looking for a reliable, high-energy individual to join our team part-time. We’re a fast-paced environment where teamwork is the secret sauce, and we need someone ready to jump in and help us serve the best BBQ in town.

​The Details:

​Schedule: Tuesday through Friday

​Hours: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Perfect for having your afternoons and weekends free!)
​
Status: Part-Time
​
Location: Riverbend BBQ, 862 S Main Street, Monticello, KY

​What You’ll Be Doing:
​In a BBQ joint, everyone chips in. Your day will be a mix of:

​Prepping Great Food: Helping our kitchen crew get the sides and meats ready for the lunch rush.

​Plating with Pride: Fixing up plates and trays that look as good as they taste.

​Customer Service: Greeting guests and waiting on customers with a friendly, "can-do" attitude.

​Keeping it Clean: Washing dishes, clearing tables, and making sure the restaurant stays sparklin' clean.

​Requirements:
​Age: Must be 18 years or older.

​Reliability: You’re the type of person who shows up on time and ready to work.

​Physical Stamina: You’ll be on your feet, moving fast, and doing some lifting (dishes, moving grills, etc.).

​Positive Energy: We work hard, but we like to have a good time doing it!
