Weāve noticed there have been quite a few questions, and unfortunately, some disagreements in the comments recently. Rather than let information get passed around or assumptions be made, we wanted to provide everyone with a clear update directly from the owners.
HOURS
Our planned hours will be 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
BUFFET
There will not be a buffet. The Leeās Chicken franchise has retired the buffet, so our location will not be offering one.
MENU
Our menu has not been finalized. We will share the official menu once everything has been confirmed.
OWNERSHIP & MANAGEMENT
We are proud to be locally owned and locally managed. Our owners are Dwight Gregory, Alan Hopper, Kenneth Catron, Dustin Wells, and Brandon Gehring.
āWHY IS THE REMODEL TAKING SO LONG?ā
We understand that everyone is ready to see the doors open, we are too. However, this has been a full renovation, not simply a quick remodel. When we made the decision to bring Leeās Chicken back to the community under new local ownership, we made the decision to do it right. We wanted to make sure this location was something our community could be proud of. While the building had good bones, practically everything else has been replaced, updated, or improved.
Could we have rushed through it just to open sooner? Sure. But that was never the goal.
We would rather take the time to do the job correctly and open with a restaurant we can stand behind.
We appreciate everyone who has been patient with us, and we genuinely believe the extra time and work will be worth it.
OPENING DATE
We do not have an official opening date yet. We know everyone wants a date, but until it is officially confirmed, we will not give out a date.
As soon as we have a confirmed opening date, you will hear it from us first.

Questions, comments, suggestions, and concerns are welcome. Disrespect is not.
We want to keep the comments open because we want to hear from our community. If you have a question, ask it. If you have a concern, bring it to our attention. If you have a suggestion, weāre happy to hear it.
What we will not tolerate is disrespect toward our owners, management, employees, customers, or other members of our community. We also will not tolerate people arguing with or attacking one another in our comments. You do not have to agree with everyone, but you are expected to remain respectful.
We want to leave the comments open because we believe communication is important. However, if the disrespect and arguing continue, we will have no choice but to turn the comments off. That is not what we want to do, but we will not allow this page to become a place where people feel comfortable disrespecting one another or the people working hard to bring this restaurant back. This is a locally owned business being built for this community, and we want it to reflect the kind of community weāre proud to be part of, positive, welcoming, respectful, and supportive.
We understand that you guys are excited, and we are too! We know everyone has been waiting, asking questions, and looking forward to seeing Leeās Chicken back in our community, and we truly appreciate the excitement surrounding it.
