What's the difference with this beef?
No weird stuff injected, fed, or otherwise used to grow these cows.

How do they stay healthy without all those pharmaceuticals?
Being moved to fresh, clean pasture every day.

How hard is it to move them that often?
As easy as this.....

Happy National Take Your Bull To Work Day!

I was bringing a new bull home from north Alabama and it was also home delivery day, so I think we developed a new holiday.

We sure got some funny looks and smiles driving through Montgomery's neighborhoods and downtown, though. You'd almost think folks don't often see cattle cruising past the Capitol or bulls in Bellehurst.
Go figure.

Once we finished delivering orders, the new bull was happy to unload at his new home. He decided life on the road isn't for him.

Daily moves means fresh grass for the chickens and fertilizer for the pasture. You can see the darker green on the right...

Daily moves means fresh grass for the chickens and fertilizer for the pasture.
You can see the darker green on the right side of the last photo showing where the chickens have been. And that was even before we got any rain!

Next time the cows are moved through here, those dark patches of grass will be the first ones to get eaten!

This is what a herd of happy cows look like.
Relaxed. Ruminating. Letting all that grass they're full of settle in and turn into meat, milk, and the next generation of the herd.
