Being a part of The Pizza Place family has meant the world to me.
I patronized The Pizza Place as a Montgomery Police Officer for many years. Mr. Mike, Brandon, and Kevin always made us feel at home. Not only was the food outstanding, but so was the experience. Mr. Mike jokingly made a heart shaped pizza for us on Valentine’s Day and other times he made us a hotdog pizza and other fun creations, he made it special.
I was over social media for the police department, so when Mr. Mike said their sales were down, I told him to try social media. He didn’t want me to do it for free, so I told him I would do it for pizza. That is how I became the social media manager for The Pizza Place.
This opportunity led me to run social media for other businesses and police departments.
We have had a lot of fun. I love the dedication of our customers and your support has been unbelievable.
It has been a beautiful experience.
I held my retirement party at The Pizza Place and my shift, Sector A, N-1, enjoyed an endless pizza buffet at my retirement celebration. My kids loved pizza nights, all made possible by The Pizza Place. So needless to say, The Pizza Place played a huge role in my life.
We will never forget the foundation Mr. Mike built this business on and we hope The Pizza Place legacy will live on. I for one believe in time it will.
Brandon has been a wonderful friend and he has helped me when my life hit a difficult time. He was there for me and has showed a kindness that is indescribable. He’s the kind of friend who is always there for you no matter what. He has shown me this recently more than anyone I have ever met.
I’ve gotten far more back from this experience than I ever gave it.
Life can be hard, but when obstacles hit, all we can do is turn to God and move forward. We serve an amazing God and I for one am thankful for everything he has done for me and little did I know how a little pizza shop would change my life for the better. God always had a plan.
When times get hard, just remember they will get better.
I appreciate each of you for supporting us and liking my corny jokes.
It’s been fun and I hope we get to do it again.
I’ll keep posting the jokes if you want.
Hopefully in time we will announce a new Grand Opening.
If you need a social media guy for your business or organization, I just might be the one you were looking for. Just send us a message here on Facebook and I can touch base with you.
It’s been fun!
Thanks again for your likes, comments and support!
Take care, friends!
Sincerely, David (The Social Media Guy)
