Angela here — daughter number one of two. No, that doesn’t mean I’m the favorite child!

If you’re not already following CCM Health, I encourage you to do so.

For years, my days revolved around working alongside my family and helping continue the legacy my parents, Gabe and Eloise, built through Valentino’s. When Valentino’s closed, I wasn’t sure what the next chapter would look like.

In February, I joined the Health Information Management (HIM) Department at CCM Health, and you’ll now find me working at the CCM Wellness Center. While transitioning from working with my blood family every day seemed like it would be an impossible adjustment, I quickly discovered something special—a new work family.

I’ll continue keeping the Valentino’s page alive, sharing Montevideo news, community happenings, and memories that celebrate the legacy our parents created. Valentino’s was always more than a restaurant—it was a place where people gathered, friendships grew, and our community connected.

Today, I’m grateful to be part of another organization that shares those same community values. CCM Health has welcomed me with support, kindness, and a true sense of belonging.

Sometimes a new chapter doesn’t replace the old one—it simply adds to the story.

Thank you for continuing to follow this page, support local organizations, and celebrate the people and places that make Montevideo such a special community.

I’d like to give a shout-out to my sister, Jackelyn, and her business, The Snack Shack.

She is always baking, creating, and adding new items, so her offerings are constantly changing. If you’d like to follow along and see what’s available, be sure to follow The Snack Shack page.

Good luck, Jackelyn—we’re proud of you! ❤️

Hi! I’m Jackie Freeman, the person in the kitchen making treats for The Snack Shack. I love baking and creating homemade goodies to share with our community. The Snack Shack is a self-serve stand filled with fresh-baked treats and other tasty surprises.

🥰🍴 To all of our amazing Valentino’s customers over the years… we have some exciting news to share!

We are so happy to see new life happening in downtown Montevideo, and we want to congratulate the new crew at Lenny’s Silver Spork on their soft launch! 🎉

After serving this community for nearly 30 years, Valentino’s will always hold a special place in our hearts. Seeing the building filled with people, food, laughter, and new memories again is something truly special. ❤️

To our loyal customers — if you loved gathering downtown, supporting local businesses, and sharing meals with family and friends, we encourage you to stop in and welcome the new team. Small-town businesses thrive because of community support, and Montevideo has always been wonderful at that.

We wish Lenny’s Silver Spork and their staff nothing but success as they begin this new chapter! 🍽️✨

Thank you again to everyone who supported Valentino’s through the years. The memories made there will always mean so much to our family. ❤️
