Angela here — daughter number one of two. No, that doesn’t mean I’m the favorite child!
If you’re not already following CCM Health, I encourage you to do so.
For years, my days revolved around working alongside my family and helping continue the legacy my parents, Gabe and Eloise, built through Valentino’s. When Valentino’s closed, I wasn’t sure what the next chapter would look like.
In February, I joined the Health Information Management (HIM) Department at CCM Health, and you’ll now find me working at the CCM Wellness Center. While transitioning from working with my blood family every day seemed like it would be an impossible adjustment, I quickly discovered something special—a new work family.
I’ll continue keeping the Valentino’s page alive, sharing Montevideo news, community happenings, and memories that celebrate the legacy our parents created. Valentino’s was always more than a restaurant—it was a place where people gathered, friendships grew, and our community connected.
Today, I’m grateful to be part of another organization that shares those same community values. CCM Health has welcomed me with support, kindness, and a true sense of belonging.
Sometimes a new chapter doesn’t replace the old one—it simply adds to the story.
