Summer is a time for fun, but for many working families, it also brings the challenge of finding a safe, positive environment for their kids.
That’s where the Community Partnership for Youth (CPY) steps in. For over 30 years, CPY has been providing a safe, structured space for Monterey County youth to learn, grow, and build positive self-esteem. From academic support to creative arts, they provide the ultimate antidote to the challenges our local kids face.
For July and August, CPY is our official "Pick It Up—Pay It Forward" partner!
Whenever you order takeout from Montrio, Tarpy’s, or Rio Grill, 10% of your total will be donated directly to CPY to help keep their summer and after-school programs running strong.

Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Coastal Roots Hospitality! 🎆🇺🇸
Please note that all of our restaurants—Montrio, Tarpy's, and Rio Grill—will be CLOSED on Saturday, July 4th.
We are taking this day to give our hardworking team a well-deserved break so they can celebrate the holiday with their friends and family.
We will reopen with our regular business hours on Sunday, July 5th, and can't wait to serve you then.
