🌸🎂 SOME EXCITING CHANGES ARE COMING TO THE CAKERY! 🎂🌸

Good morning, everyone! ❤️

I wanted to reach out and share a few things I’ve been thinking about and working on behind the scenes at The Cakery.

With both of my children now married and this mama officially becoming an empty nester, I’ve found myself with a little more free time—and, of course, my mind has started dreaming up new ideas! 😂❤️

I have a small building beside my driveway that I have traditionally used for cake and other item pickups, and I’ve been thinking about turning it into something a little more special.

I'm tossing around the idea of creating a little “Cakery Farmhouse Market” right here at home! 🏡🌸

The idea would be to have a small selection of goodies available throughout the week instead of everything always being made strictly by order.

🎂 Fresh Cakes & Sweets
• Cakes ready to grab and go
• Cupcakes
• Cookies
• Mini cakes
• Cake pops
• Seasonal desserts
• Other sweet treats

I may even make a few cakes and treats early in the week and have some available in the freezer or refrigerator for those times when you need something sweet without having to place a custom order days in advance! ❤️

And then I’ve been thinking about adding some farmhouse-style goodies as well! 🌾

🥚 Fresh Farm Eggs
🍓 Freeze-Dried Fruits
🥛 Freeze-Dried Milk & Heavy Whipping Cream
🥚 Freeze-Dried Eggs
🍞 Freeze-Dried Sourdough Starter
🌾 Wheat Berries for Grinding Your Own Flour
🎁 Small Homemade Gifts & Crafts
…and whatever other fun, homemade goodies we can come up with!

I would LOVE to hear from you all before I start putting everything together.

💕 WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE IN THE CAKERY FARMHOUSE MARKET? 💕

What kinds of cakes, cookies, cupcakes, or sweets would you love to be able to stop by and pick up?

What would you like to see for fall and winter treats? 🍂🎃❄️

Would you be interested in things like:

🍎 Apple desserts
🎃 Pumpkin treats
🍪 Homemade cookies
🧁 Cupcakes
🍰 Mini cakes
🥧 Pies
🍫 Fudge
🍿 Specialty snack mixes
🍓 Freeze-dried candy & fruit
🥖 Sourdough items
🥚 Farm-fresh eggs
🌾 Pantry/farmhouse products
🎁 Homemade gifts and crafts

I want this to be something YOU would enjoy!

So please drop your ideas, suggestions, and even your “I would LOVE to see this!” comments below. 👇🏻❤️

This is still very much in the idea/planning stage, but I’m excited about the possibilities and would love to build something that brings a little more sweetness, homemade goodness, and farmhouse charm to The Cakery.

Thank you all for continuing to support my little cake business. Every order, share, recommendation, and kind word means more to me than you know. ❤️

Maybe this next chapter of The Cakery will be a little bigger, a little sweeter, and a whole lot more FUN! 🌸🎂🏡
