Many have asked since I am closed, if they could have the raw recipes. To them I say: YES! Here is Raw Un-egg Salad:

Throw in a Vitamix:
1 C water or coconut water
juice from 2 lemons
2 cloves of garlic
1/5 t sea salt
3 C raw cashews (buy broken bits, it's cheaper)

Put in a bowl (or save a dish and put straight in a storage container) and add and mix:
1 T prepared yellow mustard
1 T apple cider vinegar
1 t turmeric

Optional: copped celery and/or red pepper is nice.

Serving Option: Dollop in spooned out cooked baby potatoes to make Deviled "Un-eggs"

Hi Go Lightly Friends. Even though the store is closed I continue to get emails and calls asking questions on sustainability. I want you all to know, it makes me happy to continue to be a resource for you on all things green and I thank you for the opportunity to continue that part of my work. It's wonderful how these things work out.

The wonderful PTA at my daughter's middle school took my suggestion that they suggest people bring reusable dishes and utensils to events at the school to save on waste. Just goes to show- Never be afraid to make comments and suggestions to help move the world forward. You may just be heard!

I also have some bulks food items for sale by the pound- Whole Flaxseeds, Sunflowers Seeds, and Walnut Pieces- low wholesale prices. I can grind the flaxseeds for you if you need. Bring containers or bags!

We are clearing out fast after this weekend's Sidewalk Sale. Still great stuff marked down- some 20% off but even more at cost or below! Also displays and shelving and such for sale. BUT WE STILL HAVE FOOD GOING STRONG- RAW SANDWICHES, JUICES, SMOOTHIES, SALAD, AND ICE CREAM!
