The Birria Empanada was created right here in our kitchen — combining our love for birria with the masa we make from scratch in-house.

It all starts with freshly ground masa. Each empanada is handcrafted to order, filled with our slow cooked birria, then finished with a drizzle of crema, a sprinkle of cotija cheese, and fresh cilantro.

Crispy on the outside, rich and savory on the inside, and made from scratch from beginning to end.

At Al Pastor Taquería, we specialize in masa. 🌽

We don’t source our masa—we make it ourselves, in-house, using our own molino and carefully selected, high-quality corn.

Our 100% yellow corn is nixtamalized and ground on volcanic stone, following a traditional process that has been part of Mexican cooking for generations. The result is fresh masa that becomes the foundation of our handmade tortillas and so much of what we serve. 🇲🇽

From our tacos to our empanadas, our kitchen is rooted in authentic Mexican flavors, traditional techniques, and a commitment to cooking from scratch.
