This Sunday May 10th we are hosting a Mother’s Day Kamayan Brunch!

Kamayan in Tagalog, translates to “hands” which is exactly what you will be using to enjoy this meal with your loved ones. May is AAPI Heritage Month, and I’m sharing my Filipino roots by creating a traditional family-style experience. The entire meal will be served on banana leaves as per tradition.

• Pork & Chicken Adobo
• Chicken Barbecue

• Shrimp

• Arancini Schiacciati: giant smashed rice ball with peas & fontina, over a bechamel, topped with bolognese
• Chicken Adobo Alfredo: adobo marinated chicken, hand rolled pappardelle, adobo cream, crispy garlic

We truly are grateful to be part of this Montclair community & need your continued support to keep us on the block. The restaurant industry is ever-changing and ever-challenging, especially in recent times. If you don’t want to see your favorite spots shut their doors, please go out & support your small businesses as we need it the most right now. With rising costs of goods, labor, and yearly rent increases, the cost of operating a small business in NJ can be difficult for some. I’ve been saddened by the recent closings of great spots in town, however I know it makes room for other businesses to expand and grow. We 🩷 You Montclair! Thank you for this opportunity to be part of one of the best towns in NJ!

Next month we are turning 4! Which means we are celebrating all month long.

Chef Bev is in the works of hosting our first of many wine dinners here in collaboration with her newest venture, her neighborhood bar in Nutley which opened just a few months ago.

The wine dinner will be highlighting some of our favorite dishes over the last 4 years, accompanied by some of Chef Bev’s favorite wines, and some new funky ones!
