Lord Empanada was founded in Los Angeles by the Lopez family. They also offer delicious Breakfast Empanadas and Sandwiches to get your day started off right.

Staying true to their roots from a small village in Argentina, Lord Empanada uses family recipes to offer authentic Argentine Empanadas and Chimichurri to the community! Lord Empanada was founded in Los Angeles by the Lopez family in August 2020, simply starting out as a popup selling Empanadas & Chimichurri at various breweries and street fairs. Their Empanadas and Chimichurri were a huge hit, an

d just a little over a year they were able to open a brick & mortar in Monrovia, CA to keep up with demand. Staying true to their roots from a small village in Argentina, known as Córdoba, Lord Empanada offers a variety of authentic Argentine cuisine, such as Empanadas, Chimichurri, Choripan, Matambre, Milanesa, and Chile Verde.

Back to reality!

THANK YOU to my team for absolutely crushing it and holding down the restaurant operations while I was away for 11 days, by far the longest I have ever been absent from the restaurant since we opened.

I feel recharged and refocused with the same fire and motivation I had when we were first creating Lord Empanada. Thank you Chef Mario, Rosie, Denisse, Cookie, Tania, Malinna, Rudy, Enrique, Naomi, Destiny and my brother Ty. I owe you more than you can imagine and I promise to continue being the best version of myself as a leader and a friend.

Happy 91st Birthday Grandma Lopez!!!

Grandma Lopez is the OG living legend who laid the foundation of which Lord Empanada was built with her Beef Empanada and Chimichurri recipe. Without her, there is no Lord Empanada.

This didn’t happen because of one person, it happened because of my team who showed up every single day, even when it was difficult. You are the reason Lord Empanada is what it is today and this award belongs to you.

To my family, thank you for supporting and believing in me when I first started as a small pop up in 2020 to going full send with a brick & mortar in 2021. You were there through my lowest lows, the sleepless nights, the doubt, and the pressure, and you celebrated every high right along with me. I couldn’t have done any of this without your love, patience, and constant support.
