Greetings all! Our Chef Sarah “Mac” is currently in 3rd on our first round of "Favorite Chef". Single votes are free and can be cast every day. Littering is careless laziness. Minor effort is required to keep America and its Farmland free of garbage. Keep that in mind before you to decide to carelessly discard your garbage ANYWHERE but into a proper receptacle.

Took a nice walk around our rented field down the road from us. Beautiful little piece of land that sits beside our families old church and butts up to the River Raisin.

One of the main reasons I took this little stroll is to pickup any debris that may have been raked into the windrows that are about to be baled into hay.

One of the biggest threats our animals face is eating garbage that is baled into their food 🤢

So it has become a routine chore to check and check again ✔️ ✔️

To my utter amazement, I found this much garbage on a 2/3 acre lot!

Now I understand things blow in the wind 💨 and man has it been windy lately! But the plastic golf balls are just the perfect size to choke and kill any of our cattle, not to mention plug up some very expensive farm equipment.

This is my PSA, if you live next to a farm field, PLEASE think twice about what you’re allowing to blow and/or hit into those fields 🙏🌱🫶🏼🐮
