Sweet Wheels is for sale. At least, the RV we used to operate it is for sale. We removed the soft serve ice cream machine and accessories out of it.

We've decided to sell the RV we've used to operate our ice cream stand, "Sweet Wheels." We've taken out the soft serve ice cream machine and now this 1984 Chevy RV is for sale. It has only 48,000 miles on it and we've only driven it a few miles each year to take it in and out of storage. We'd like to sell it locally around the Monroe area. DEAR FRIENDS: After having a very short amount of time looking for a new location, we have decided to put Sweet Wheels on hiatus this summer. While we are sad that we will not be operating this summer, we are looking forward to seeing you in a great new location in the summer of 2019. We will spend this time looking for a location where we can serve you as a friendly neighborhood ice cream stand for families, kids, and even pets. Thank you for your business and loyalty since we began in 2014. We'll see you soon in the summer of 2019!

Look what we got out of storage on this "lovely spring weekend!" Yes, Sweet Wheels is now out of storage as we get ready for our 5th season of serving ice cream treats this summer. However, right now it's hard to imagine a warm summer night stopping over to Monroe's east side to get an ice cream cone, malt, shake, root beer float, banana split, or even a Blaster. We're planning on opening around June 1st...if spring and summer ever gets here. Hopefully, the snow will be gone by then.

Is this REALLY the end of summer? I'm afraid so. Today is the last day of the season for Sweet Wheels. We'll be open today from 3pm to 8pm. Enjoy one last great taste of summer with your favorite ice cream treat. There's just something about a small, family-owned neighborhood ice cream stand in a small town that makes summer so enjoyable. Stop by and give us some ideas for the summer of 2018. If you're in line at 8pm, don't worry...we'll wait on everybody past 8pm. We won't close until everybody has had their favorite ice cream treat for the summer. Happy Labor Day from Sweet Wheels!

Sweet Wheels will be open today (Sunday September 3rd) and tomorrow (Monday-Labor Day) from 3pm to 8pm. Then, Sweet Wheels will close for the season. So, come on over to Sweet Wheels for something yummy to close out the summer season. We've got shakes, malts, root beer floats, sundaes, vanilla cones, cherry dipped and chocolate dipped cones, freeze pops, and our specialty: Blasters- with your favorites toppings. It's hard to believe that summer is winding down. For us at Sweet Wheels, it has gone waaaay too fast. Labor Day is just one week away and that means Sweet Wheels will close for the season on Monday September 4th. So, come on out to Sweet Wheels this week for a final taste of the summer. Enjoy a Blaster, Root Beer Float, shake, malt, sundae, vanilla cone or Blaster Deluxe, and savor that flavor til next summer. We're open from 3pm til 8pm at the corner of 13th Street and 31st Avenue across from the Beverage Mart on Monroe's East side. Hey, summer's short...eat more ice cream at Sweet Wheels. Oh my!!! Footballs are flying, kids are going back to school and...the sun is setting earlier. Therefore, Sweet Wheels will now be closing at 8pm each night. As summer is drawing to a close, stop by for a Blaster, Root Beer Float, a shake, malt, vanilla cone or dipped cone, a sundae, or even a K9 Cup. We're open from 3pm-8pm until at least Labor Day.

Happy 4th of July from Sweet Wheels. It was also 3 years ago today that we opened Sweet Wheels. Here is a picture of our very first customers, Bob and Sherri Perdue of Monroe. Come out to Sweet Wheels today and help us celebrate with our 3rd Anniversary specials. Today only (July 4th) get 3 vanilla cones for just $1. Also, large root beer floats are just $3 (regular root beer floats are just $2).
