Remember to support your local restaurants!!! The Kitchen Restaurant was opened in 1984 by James and Mary Traylor. The next year, it moved to its current location in downtown Monroe. Here, they have been serving residents of Ouachita Parish for nearly three decades. The Kitchen is still a family business. James and Mary are now joined by their daughter Terri, along with many other family members,

children, and grandchildren. This business prides itself on serving quality food at great prices, shopping locally for their ingredients, and valuing their customers. So, if you're in the mood for a home-cooked lunch, juicy burger, or crispy salad, just come on in and eat with us!
