Start practicing with your children, same rules, 12 and under.

🇺🇸June 27th 5pm to 7pm....Stoneco baseball fields. If your a youth, come out and say the pledge of allegiance and get a FREE ice cream and an American Flag. 🇺🇸

Douglas James Bushroe Sr.
May 21, 1945 - June 23, 2022

Douglas James Bushroe Sr., 77 years, of Monroe, MI passed away at the Fountain View of Monroe under the care of ProMedica Hospice on Thursday, June 23, 2022. The son of Gabriel and Laurine (Stark) Bushroe he was born on May 21, 1945 in Monroe, MI.
Douglas was a well-known self-employed mechanic who was a dreamer and someone who flew by the seat of his pants in everything he did.
He is survived by his children, Douglas (MaryJo) Bushroe Jr., Jody (Dawn) Bushroe and Misty Matthews; as well as multiple grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and all his siblings.
Per his wishes, cremation was held and there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI.

Here's the scoop...
I am retiring after 38 years from the best job ever. (Let me add, I can only hope my next job brings as much joy as this one has). I'm leaving with the name, the FB page and all the memories of friends/customers I will never forget! It has truly been my pleasure everyday to serve you, your children and grandchildren. I will miss you...and as you read this, you know that I mean that. Thank you for supporting me!
I don't know the future of this location as it belongs to my siblings so I can't answer any questions on that.

It’s still going and growing!! Currently on week 44, probably going to get real close to $100K by Saturday. 60% goes to the winner, 40% goes to our local VFW post. Only 10 cards left!!
