Art Exhibition Grand Opening: Featuring Gladys Drummonds & Deborah “Debbie” Conner
Join us for a beautiful evening of art, music, and Michigan-made hospitality as the Michigan Wine and Beer Portal and River Raisin Trading Post Specialty Coffee Shop proudly host the Grand Opening of a special art exhibition featuring Gladys Drummonds and Deborah “Debbie” Conner on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 6–9 p.m.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet both artists, learn about their creative journeys, and experience an inspiring exhibition showcasing their love of art, nature, color, and creativity. Gladys Drummonds, a self-taught artist and longtime leader in the Monroe art community, is known for her colorful, realistic acrylic and watercolor paintings inspired by flowers, birds, butterflies, landscapes, and animals. Deborah Conner, a retired elementary art teacher and active member of the Monroe Art League and Toledo Potters Guild, brings a lifelong passion for painting, drawing, pottery, and sculpture to her work.
The evening will also feature live music by Tony Marchese, the Versatile Violinist, creating the perfect atmosphere to take in the exhibition, meet the artists, and enjoy an unforgettable night along the River Raisin.
