Scott recently spent a week traveling through Colombia, invited by Trabocca and the FNC (National Colombian Coffee Federation) to visit local farms and participate in the Best of Tolima auction.

The trip took an unexpected turn right from the start, just an hour after landing in Bogotá, a massive 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck northwestern Colombia and was felt right where he was staying. With plans adjusting daily, Scott was still able to experience incredible highlights, including visiting the Cenicafe research farm in Tolima, the neighboring Escuela del Café coffee school, and securing an exceptional winning lot at the auction from producer Yeison Adrian Vargas Gonzalez!
