We had been trying to come up with a way to support the members of our community and their families who are off fighting the wildfires right now. We polled a few customers who are wild land firefighter’s and the common theme was “take care of those at home 🏠.” Our goal is to be able to say thank you (in the form of coffee 🥰) to those on the front lines when they return home, their families who are holding down the fort without them in the meantime, and to the crews currently working overtime staffing our local stations. So the idea of the community cares gift card was born ✨. Because a little kindness and a cup of coffee can make someone’s day a whole lot brighter 🥰. So if you are able and want to we have a donation link in our bio, every little bit will help us pay it forward in a big way.

Wow, who can believe July is almost over 👀😳.

July was good to us 💟 when we weren’t making coffee we have been out soaking up sunshine ☀️ and making memories 🌊 🎆 👧👦🐴💃🏼.

Speaking of what’s ahead… we’ve got some exciting things planned for August! 🥳A few of those thing mean we’ll be closed Monday 8/10 and Tuesday 8/11.

Closing our doors—even for a couple of days—is always a little nerve-wracking. But we know this time away is going to be worth it. We’ll be making some building improvements, installing a new piece of equipment, and spending time together at a staff retreat so we can continue serving you the very best we can.

If time (and energy 😅) allow, we’ll share some behind-the-scenes updates along the way!

But in all seriousness, one of the greatest joys of Bugles is getting to share in your lives. We’ve been some of the first to hear about growing families, heartbreaking losses, promotions, planned proposals 😉, big wins, hard seasons, and all of the beautifully ordinary moments in between.

We have noticed 🍯 Honey Lattes have been quite popular around here 👀, so we wanted to take the opportunity to tell you a little bit about the honey (and the people behind the honey) that we use at Bugles! We source our honey from Coffman Farms LLC located in Independence, Oregon. They are a small family run business with just a few employees. Owners, Steven & Ciera both shared a passion for beekeeping and actually met at the Oregon State Beekeepers Conference about 13 years ago. They married, started a business and just welcomed their first child this year!

Their bees help pollinate local agricultural crops before heading off on "bee vacations" to gather nectar in wild honey-producing areas. 🐝🌼

So the next time you stop in for a Honey Latte, feel free to ask us what kind of honey we're using—we're always happy to share! Whether you enjoy honey simply because you love the taste or choose it as a natural sweetener, we hope you can appreciate knowing a little more about where it comes from and the local family who makes it possible. 🍯🐝🤍
