We think our Kids Corner at the cafe could use a little color! So who better to decorate our walls than our youngest customers! We have three frames to fill and three prizes to award! Stop in to

Kids Coloring & Drawing Contest

Celebrate the charm of the farm with our Hen & Chicks coloring and drawing kids contest! We invite young artists to show their talent and creativity for a chance to win a fun prize and have your art hung on the wall in our kids corner!

Contest Dates: August 5 – September 6

Age Groups

🌼 Ages 3–5
Coloring Contest

Color the provided Hen & Chicks coloring page.
Use any coloring materials (crayons, colored pencils, or markers).

🌻 Ages 6–9
Coloring Contest

Color the provided Hen & Chicks coloring page. • Use any coloring materials (crayons, colored pencils, or markers)
Creativity, neatness, and color choices are encouraged.

🌾 Ages 10–14
Drawing Contest

Create your own original drawing inspired by the theme:
"Hen & Chicks on the Farm."
Drawings may be realistic, whimsical, folk art-inspired, or imaginative.
Any drawing medium may be used (colored pencils, crayons, markers, watercolor, etc.).
Contest Rules
One entry per child.
Entries must be created by the child.
Coloring contestants must use the official contest coloring page provided by the café.
Drawing contestants should create an original piece based on the contest theme and use the official drawing paper provided by the cafe.
Please fill out the following on the back of the entry:
Child's name
Age
Parent/Guardian name
Phone number or email
***Entries must be received by Saturday, September 6 before closing(by 2pm).
Artwork may be displayed inside the café or on our social media pages. By entering, parents/guardians grant permission for display of the artwork and the child's first name and age only.

Entries will be judged on:
Creativity
Effort
Neatness
Overall presentation
Judges' decisions are final.

Psst... we’ve got a secret. 🤫

That’s right—we have a Secret Menu! Starting this Wednesday, we’ll be launching a few brand-new drinks that you won’t find on our regular menu.

These are our test lattes for future seasonal menus, so you’ll get to be among the first to try them! The Secret Menu will be rotating as we dream up new coffee creations, so there’s always a reason to stop back and see what’s new.

Come try these exclusive drinks, let us know your favorite, and don’t forget to tag us in your photos! Your feedback might even help decide what makes it onto a future seasonal menu.

Only one more day to get your loyalty cards in for the June raffle! Tomorrow, 6/28, after closing, we'll be drawing our very first monthly loyalty card winner! Each month we will have the option of winning a $50 gift card or a unique prize! June's prize is a whole 10" chocolate chip cookie cheesecake ( valued at $65) ! Stop by tomorrow for your last stamp and to be entered for June's drawing!

We will be closed July 1st–5th for a little summer break! Be sure to stop by this week to stock up on our freezer meals and farm-raised meats before we head out.
