We want to thank all of our loyal customers for continuing to support our small-town business. In a community of our size, every order truly matters to us, and we truly appreciate every person who chooses to support local.

Unfortunately, tonight we received a fake phone order placed under the name “John” for 10 pizzas and 5 cheese breads totaling over $200 in food. By the time we realized the order was not legitimate, the food had already been made. Also, due to the size of the order, and the fact that we make our dough fresh a couple times a week, we were running low on dough and had to turn other orders away to complete this order.

We are not in this business to get rich — we do it because we care about our community, enjoy serving people, and work hard to keep a local business going. Losses like this are difficult for any small business to absorb.

We are not posting this for sympathy, but only to inform everyone why we are implementing a new policy; Because of this incident, we will now require prepayment on all phone-in orders moving forward. We hate having to make this change because we never want to inconvenience our loyal customers or turn away business, but situations like this leave us with little choice.

We ask everyone to remember that pranks like this don’t hurt large corporations — they hurt local families, local employees, and small businesses right here in our own town. Thank you again to the many honest customers who continue to support us. We appreciate you more than you know.

UPDATE: Due to insufficient demand for our by-the-slice pizza offerings, we have made the decision to discontinue this service. We appreciate the support shown by our valued customers and may revisit this offering in the future.

$4/ slice or $7 for a slice and a fountain drink.
