How can you tell what your tomatoes need when they're weeks or months away from being harvested? The answers lie in the leaves of every plant.

Right now Stanislaus Field team members like Roxy are out in our growers fields conducting sampling research so we can asses the health and flavor of our tomatoes before the Fresh Pack Tomato Season begins.

Each leaf that's collected is sealed, sent, and analyzed for nutrients and organic matter. That work gives us a snapshot of the real-time health of the plant. This kind of proactive care is one of the many steps we take to ensure our tomatoes have that consistency in flavor and quality that you've come to expect from Stanislaus.

There’s nothing we enjoy more than investing our time and resources into the flavor investments that give you peace of mind, knowing that the can you open this year will taste just as great as last year’s.

As Pizza makers you know that a sauce can make or break your pie. It's a fine balance between sweetness and acidity. Too much of one, and it overpowers the pie; too much of the other, and it seems to fall flat. However, there's a sweet spot when you get the two just right.
