Good afternoon, Eats on 601 family! ❤️
First and foremost, we want to thank everyone who came out and supported our Summer Kickoff event. Whether you came to eat, shop, play, or simply spend time with family, we truly appreciate each and every one of you.
As many of you know, Eats on 601 is still growing and evolving. We are definitely a work in progress, and while every event may not be perfect, we are constantly learning, improving, and finding ways to make each event better than the last. We promise to continue smoothing things out and making improvements as we grow.
Right now, our focus is building a consistent weekly schedule for our food trucks and tent vendors so the community knows when and where to find great food and local businesses.
We also want our vendors to succeed. Eats on 601 is a growing community market. We promote heavily, provide a great location, and work hard to bring families out. Attendance varies by event, and while we can’t guarantee sales, we are committed to growing this platform for everyone involved.
One thing we intentionally try not to do is overload the lot with too many vendors selling the same items. While we love supporting small businesses, we also want to give our vendors a fair opportunity to be successful and encourage them to continue returning to Eats on 601.
