Get transported to an English pub with this flavorful, malt-focused northern English-style brown ale. Homeward Brown has notes of nuttiness, biscuit and caramel.

This b**r was brewed in collaboration with Cottage Hill Package Store to celebrate their 50th anniversary and the legacy of Rey and Felicity Mañas.

Cottage Hill carries thousands of b**rs and quite literally everything we produce — the only place that does so outside of our taproom.

Join the Friends of The Mystic Dollys of Folly at Braided River on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2-7 p.m., for the release of Dolly's Folly, a mystical blonde ale!

At the party, the Dollys will have Boot Scootin' Bingo tickets for sale, and information about the organization and its charitable efforts.

Musician Kat Deal will be performing, 3-6 p.m.!

And six-packs of Dolly's Folly will be available for purchase, with $1 going to the Mystic Dollys of Folly to support nonprofits in our area.

TODAY, Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Braided River taproom:

11:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. - Cousin Maine Lobsters Food Truck! Take your pick from lobster rolls, lobster bisque, lobster tots and so much more. This food truck rarely makes it way to downtown Mobile, so don't miss it!

Noon - Saints watch party! Come cheer on our boys as they take on the Minnesota Vikings. Nola music during commercial breaks. Super secret touchdown celebrations. Accusations of hooliganism.

2 p.m. - Official kickoff of our mini street tennis league! Blakely will be here to get everyone in order. Four teams will play at a time.

Playing at 2 p.m.: Brayden Rivers, The Wimbledon'ts, Critical Miss and L***r Than Life. Playing at 3 p.m.: Fear the Bear, Pour Decisions Tennis Club, Brayden Rivers and Brew Crew.

WEATHER UPDATE

Due to Hurricane Isaias, our downtown Mobile taproom is going to be CLOSED on Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10. We are postpoing/rescheduling all events happening on those two days.

As long as our power is on and the roads are safe to navigate, we will reopen our normal hours (noon to 7 p.m.) on Sunday, Oct. 11.

BONUS: In honor of the storm, barrel-aged versions of our Hurricane Alley sour ale will be on special in the taproom tonight!

We aged this brew in a Cottage Hill Package Store barrel that once held Myers’s Rum and Buffalo Trace Bourbon. Inspired by the boozy fruit punch cocktail, Hurricane Alley has notes of bright passionfruit and orange peel.

Come out and enjoy the calm before the storm 🌀

Tonight, Thursday, Oct. 8, we'll have run/walk club at 6 p.m., plus our South Alabama football watch party!

Join the University of South Alabama National Alumni Association to cheer on the Jaguars as they take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves.

We'll have food trucks, a livestream of the football game on a large outdoor screen, and Spotted Tail, the official b**r of the Jags. Bring your tailgate chair and celebrate with USA fans from all over the Port City as we cheer on our hometown team!

Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. 🏈 Free and open to the public!
