Shame shame
We love positivity especially right now BUT the reality is as a Greenhouse business in Southern Ontario, we are sad… and frankly downright upset. We do everything possible as a family owned and operated business to put forth the best product for our customers. The reality is, that appears not to be enough at the moment. We currently have skids and skids of beef steak tomatoes that are slated to head straight to the garbage! 🤯 We cannot move our product due to circumstances out of our control! 😫 Restaurants are not open therefore a huge part of demand is not there. Tomatoes are being brought in from outside of our province (I have to be careful what I type or my posts automatically get flagged and will not be shown). We are not even given the opportunity to compete fairly in our own market! I could go on and on, but I think you get the point… Sooooo here’s the positivity we can find in this post, rather than throwing it into the garbage, we would like to pass an incredible deal onto you. Only $5 per flat!!! 😍🙌 This will help us to cover some of the costs associated with growing them but by no means make any form of profit.

**IF you are able to bring your own containers, we would be very grateful if you could toss the empty flats inside the produce stand. Because apparently with everything else going on, there’s a huge cardboard shortage! 🤦🏻♀️ I mean, why not!? 🤪
