We’re baaaack!!!! Well, for a little bit at least. We’re serving up ramen, fried rice, spring rolls, and curry fries starting Saturday 8/27 from 4-9! As always, we’re using fresh local ingredients wherever possible. If you don’t catch us this weekend, don’t worry! We’ll have regular days starting next week. Stay tuned for hours and specials! You might not know that we’ve been running a Nomad Kiosk in the University Center on campus. But, we’ll have our last day on March 4th. will be starting a new job which will bring the Nomad adventure to an end. Come and get your Nomad for a couple more weeks! Thank you Missoula. will become Calypso Sandwich Shop, which is our sandwich venture in the UC.

roasted a whole pig last week, which means boatloads of sweet sweet pork broth this week. We can’t eat gallons of broth so we want to make ramen for y’all.

Saturday at 5pm, in the Silk Road Commissary parking lot. 700 SW Higgins ave, next to Pattee Creek Market. 60 bowls, first come first served.

Roasted pork broth, mentsuyu marinated sirloin shaved thin, handmade ramen noodles, slow poached egg, scallions, nori, and fried onions.

Wow , we did not expect that. We rolled up to OddPitch Brewing ready to serve 20-30 people over a leisurely 6-hour meal service. Prep-in-motion and dishes done between orders, easy -peasy. You all had other ideas. We had a line before opening, sold out in an hour and a half, closed for 30minutes to run to the store, then sold out in another hour. We were completely sold out before 5pm!

We were running around like chickens with our heads cut off and our kitchen was completely trashed. We were floored by the incredible outpouring of love and support. We were stunned by the understanding and forgiveness so many customers gave us when we were shamefully late with your order or made you wait for far too long. We are ashamed we were not able to serve everyone that wanted our food, and we are embarrassed we were not able to provide the level of service you deserve. We will do better. We deeply appreciate your forgiveness and support.

Honestly, we were questioning whether it was all worth it. Whether it was worth it pulling around a borrowed kitchen, making food the hard way, and if buying quality local ingredients was worth it. You showed us yesterday that it is. You showed us that you’ll support us even though we really need to be better. We’ll never forget the support you have given us. We are so proud to be a part of this community.

It was wonderful, exciting, humbling, embarrassing, exhilarating, and exhausting yesterday. Words can’t describe how grateful we are for every one of you. We will be better for you.
