After many wonderful years, the time has come for me to close the doors of Morrie’s Landing and turn the page to a new chapter in my life.
Owning and running a restaurant was a dream of mine from the time I was just 16 years old, and I feel fortunate to have made that dream a reality. I’ve achieved many of the goals I set for myself, met a lot of great people, and made plenty of memories along the way.
The plan to eventually sell Morrie’s Landing has actually been in the works for about four years, so this is something I have been preparing for and thinking about for quite some time.
I want to thank all of our customers for their support over the years and all of the employees who helped keep Morrie’s Landing going. I’ve appreciated your business, hard work, and the many relationships that came from it.
Now I’m ready to slow down and enjoy life a little more—spending time at my condo on Anna Maria Island, painting, crafting, working on my dollhouses, building a new home, and simply enjoying my days before the years slip away.
I’ve spent a lifetime working toward my dreams. Now I’m ready to take some time to enjoy them.
I also want to thank Jeff Bertke of Eiting Real Estate for helping me through the process. Jeff was very personable, and I appreciated that we worked through everything together. He was one of the best Realtors I’ve ever worked with, and I’m grateful for all of his help along the way.
