As promised… Taco Wednesday is happening at Schatz Crossroads Deli! 🌮🔥

Today, we join so many in mourning the passing of the incomparable Dolly Parton. Our condolences go out to her family, friends and the generations of people who admired her. ❤️

Our founder, Danny Schatz, had a great sense of humor — and, like many of his generation (and every generation since), he always adored Dolly.

This painting was actually the very first sign and logo for Schatz Crossroads Truck Stop. And we’ll just say… the resemblance was not entirely accidental. 😉

Dolly had a remarkable way of being larger than life while never seeming to take herself too seriously. She brought beauty, humor, kindness and a whole lot of personality everywhere she went.

Today feels like a good reminder to do a little more of the same: laugh often, be kind, add a little beauty to the world, and never take yourself too seriously.

Rest easy, Dolly. You were truly one of a kind. ❤️
