We're back! 🇫🇷🟡 After a wonderful trip to France and Brittany visiting family, we're excited to be back and making crêpes again!

🇫🇷 Off to France... and we'll be back soon!
Our suitcases are packed (yes, the red bandana is coming too! ❤️), and it's time for a little family trip.
We'll be taking a 3-week break while we visit family in France, including a stop in Brittany—the region that has inspired so much of the Saint Malo Crêpes story.
We'll miss seeing you at the markets, but we're looking forward to coming back refreshed, inspired, and ready to make more crêpes for you.
Thank you for all your support so far this season. See you in a few weeks!

Why buckwheat?
In Brittany, savory crêpes are traditionally made with buckwheat flour — a local staple that has been part of Breton cuisine for centuries.
Buckwheat gives galettes their earthy, slightly nutty flavor and crisp edges, and naturally contains no gluten.
At Saint Malo Crêpes, all savory crêpes are made the Breton way with MN Buckwheat flour 🇫🇷🇺🇸

What is Saint-Malo?

Saint-Malo is a historic port city on the coast of Brittany, in northwestern France — a place shaped by the sea, strong tides, salted butter, and crêpe culture.

It is also the inspiration behind Saint Malo Crêpes.

In Brittany, crêpes are more than just food. They are part of everyday life: shared with family, found at markets, enjoyed after the beach, or around a simple table with friends.

Through this project, I wanted to bring a little piece of that tradition to Minnesota — simple, comforting food made with care and meant to be shared.

Here it is — the menu for Saint Malo Crêpes.

A simple selection of sweet crêpes and savory buckwheat crêpes, made fresh to order and inspired by French favorites with a local twist.

Everything is made from scratch in our kitchen — with one exception: Nutella is still Nutella, and some classics don’t need reinventing.

You’ll find us this weekend at Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market and Linden Hills Farmers Market. Come hungry!

Our first market day is in the books — and what a great one it was!

😊Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and supported us on day one. Your kindness and excitement meant a lot.

💪And a big thank you to the team for making it happen — fast hands, good energy, and great work all around.
