We’ve been working on some unforgettable flavors that are soon to be launched (stay tuned! 👀) but, we are also itching to release some more flavors that some got to try at the The Salt Cure Fund fundraiser we were a part of at Malcolm Yards Market !

🎉 Ice Cream is Back! 🎉

We have removed our affected ice cream machine from production and began producing on a different machine like mad to restock ice cream!
We have worked closely with the MN Department of Agriculture to have production back in action.

All 3 MN shops now have ice cream again!
It’s not every single flavor in the lineup, but it’s quite a few!

Hello Dear Friends,

This message is going out to all, to be as transparent as possible.

Yesterday, we had our routine inspection with the Department of Agriculture.
Each year, our products (and a few other products sold in MN) fall under further inspection from other restaurants. This process goes far beyond what typical restaurants undergo. We are tested on a microbial scale each year, and undergo a more thorough licensing process. It is great practice we undergo to keep everyone safe.

Yesterday, during one of our routine inspections, a flaw was found in our primary machine we use for production. This flaw was created by routine cleaning & sanitizing during the production process.

Because we cannot with 100% certainty determine when this happened, out of an abundance of caution, products that may have come into contact with this machine were destroyed from our Minnesota shops yesterday (WI not affected ).
There are no reports of contamination or illnesses reported due to this identified flaw.

This machine has been removed from our production process, and ice cream will be produced in the future without it until proper remedies can be made.
Please reach out to [email protected] or bring any affected pints to a shop for a refund.

Currently, our shops do not have ice cream. We have shakes, dirty sodas and the hot food we love providing for you each day.
We understand this weekend is a big one for everyone. It’s Pride Weekend near our Uptown shop where we’ve seen everyone year after year make a tradition of grabbing our seasonal flavor.
There are birthdays to celebrate. Wins to celebrate. Some may be having a hard time.
We do not want to go into this weekend ice-cream-less. We want to be your rock.

Our plan is to begin production again, with different machinery to rebuild our stock for everyone. First priority will be our obligations for events outside of each shop, and then we will build up our stock for entry one. Ben and Gabby will be pulling several all nighters until stock can be rebuilt.
