A note from me, not the marketing: bulk spice prices are dropping, so ours are too.

Tariffs pushed our costs up for a while, and your prices went up with them β€” that part was never fun. Costs are coming back down, and I'm passing it along the same day I see it. The bulk bins are refilled and re-marked.

Share this with someone who cooks from scratch β€” buying spices by the ounce is the cheapest upgrade in the kitchen.🌿

You don't need a smoker to get real smoke flavor on salmon.
Mesquite Smoked Sea Salt β€” slow-smoked over real mesquite wood, zero liquid smoke shortcuts β€” finishes the fish and that's it. No extra steps.
This is what specialty salt is actually for. Share this with someone who grills. πŸ‘‡

The difference between good grilled chicken and great grilled chicken is the brine.
Sel Gris β€” French Grey Sea Salt β€” on the chicken overnight. Pat dry. Grill. That's it.
The coarse mineral salt pulls moisture to the surface and draws it back in, and that's what builds the crust most people never get at home.

This whole dinner came off one shelf at the store: Filotea Truffle Fettuccine, Campo d'Oro Creamy Alfredo, plus peas and pancetta. The finishing move is Black Truffle Sea Salt β€” it goes on last, off the heat, so the truffle actually shows up when you eat it.
Fifteen minutes, one pan. Share this with someone who thinks truffle pasta is a restaurant-only thing.

All three are on the shelf at the store β€” grab the trio and dinner's decided.

This is the dish your guests will ask about for the rest of summer.

Grilled peaches + burrata, finished with Black Truffle Sea Salt, EVOO, and our Habanero Honey Balsamic. The truffle salt hits the sweetness of the peach in a way that's hard to explain until you taste it.

πŸ§‚ Sel Gris (French Grey) β€” coarse and mineral-rich, built for brining before the cook.

Here's what most people get wrong about five spice. πŸ€”

It's not named for the number of spices. It's named for the five tastes it's built to hit: salty, spicy, sour, sweet, and bitter. The whole idea is harmony, what Chinese cooking calls "he," every flavor in balance, none of them shouting. ✨

Here's what each one brings:
⭐ Star anise for depth
🌿 Cloves for warmth
🌱 Fennel for sweetness
⚑ Sichuan peppercorn for that electric tingle
🌳 Cinnamon to tie it all together

Five ingredients. Thousands of years of kitchen wisdom. And we make ours in house. πŸ’›

Save this for the next time you reach for a blend. πŸ“Œ

Five spices. One blend that's been around for centuries. And it might change how you grill this summer. πŸ”₯

Chinese five spice is one of those blends that sounds simple but does a lot of work. ✨ Star anise, cloves, cinnamon, Sichuan peppercorn, and fennel, balanced so no single spice takes over. Warm, a little sweet, deeply savory, all at once.

Rub our house blend onto wings before they hit the grill πŸ— and something good happens. The spices char and caramelize right into the skin, building a crust with that what is ON these flavor that gets people leaning over the grate asking questions. πŸ€”

The blend is in the shop now, and we're sharing the full grilled wings recipe later this week. πŸ‘€Come see us, and we'll tell you everything you'd want to know about cooking with it. πŸ›οΈ
