Hola Arepa started as a food truck in 2011 & opened a brick & mortar restaurant in May 2014 in South Minneapolis. We serve arepas & other Latin small plates, plus a full bar with a craft cocktail program.

OPEN STREETS NICOLLET is this Saturday 11am to 5pm! Come hang out with us at Hola or in our parking lot for fun and games. It’s the return of BAD BUNNY BRUNCH with DJ Rulo! We’ll have tiki hut drink specials, mini nachos to go, Falling Knife Brewing Company b**r and a chance to win a $50 Hola Arepa Gift Card! See you Saturday! The Caribbean Coconut Chicken Arepa is inspired by Moqueca, the Brazilian stew rich with coconut milk, red pepper, tomato, garlic, onion and lime. Chicken thighs are marinated in all those flavors and piled high in an arepa with arugula, citrus onions, radish and fresh herbs.
