There have been many kind people who’ve asked how Lu’s can better support our staff during this challenging time—and we agree. We’ve been doing our best to take care of our team, but we know it hasn’t been enough. Our staff deserve more, especially given everything that has been happening since the immigration situation escalated in Minnesota this past December.

Lu’s is not looking to profit from this. We simply want to continue earning your business through our hard work every day—making the freshest bánh mì we can for our community.

On our cold Nicollet Avenue, you chose care over fear.
Alex, your kindness still warms us,
and this city remembers you dearly.

Thank You the people of Minnesota for keeping our calm and protesting peacefully. We chose love and caring over rage and violent which can be extremely difficult given the circumstances. We’re feeling loved and safe enough to reopen tomorrow Monday to do what we do best, to serve the people our warm delicious Bánh Mì.
