Community Statement | A Day Without immigrants
On Friday, January 23, Abi’s Restaurant will be closed during regular business hours 9am-9pm in solidarity with A Day Without Immigrants in Minnesota.
This closure is more than a pause in service — it is a stand for our people.
Immigrants are the heart of our kitchens, the strength behind our businesses, and the soul of our communities. They are our staff, our families, and our customers. Without immigrants, our community would not thrive, our stories would be incomplete, and our tables would be empty.
As a community-rooted business, we believe it is our responsibility to support our staff and honor everyone who has walked through our doors and believed in us. Today, we choose unity, dignity, and visibility.
Restaurant hours will resume Saturday, January 24, from 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM.

Comunicado Comunitario | Un Día Sin Inmigrantes
El viernes 23 de enero, Abi’s Restaurant permanecerá cerrado durante su horario regular en solidaridad con Un Día Sin Inmigrantes en Minnesota.
Este cierre no es solo una pausa — es una declaración.
Los inmigrantes son el corazón de nuestras cocinas, la fuerza de nuestros negocios y el alma de nuestras comunidades. Son nuestro personal, nuestras familias y nuestros clientes. Sin inmigrantes, nuestra comunidad no prosperaría, nuestras historias estarían incompletas y nuestras mesas vacías.
Como un negocio arraigado en la comunidad, creemos que es nuestra responsabilidad apoyar a nuestro personal y honrar a todos los que nos han apoyado y cruzado nuestras puertas. Hoy elegimos la unidad, la dignidad y alzar la voz.
